Mackinac Media Inc. is a new source of programming for home video/DVD and television markets worldwide. The company will distribute original productions, as well as classic and independent films, documentaries, sports programming and television shows.
We have partnered with Laughsmith Entertainment Inc. to produce original programming. Laughsmith Entertainment’s The Forgotten Films of Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle will air on Turner Classic Movies in June 2005. The DVD release will be announced during the Broadcast.
Mackinac Media Inc. will begin releasing two to five titles per month beginning April, 2005, starting with Stooges: The Men Behind the Mayhem, the definitive documentary on the stooges – loaded with plenty of extras; FIFA Fever, celebrating 100 years of the world’s best soccer; and the Australian award-wining independent film Four Jacks.
